Who I am
Hello, I’m Phil Millichamp
I’m the director and principal consultant of Millit Consultants. I’m a PRINCE2, MSP and AgilePM certified programme and project manager with a track record of delivering major IT change and transformation programmes with budgets of up to £50m.
I started my career as an analyst/programmer in 1996 after a degree in Mathematics at the University of Warwick, and spent the next 16 years with DXC Technology and its predecessors on the Ford, Royal Mail and NHS accounts – moving from systems analysis to project, release and programme management. Since 2012 I have worked as an independent contractor, most notably leading IT programmes for Jaguar Land Rover and global supply-chain transformation for LifeScan.
Clients tell me my value lies in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams: translating commercial requirements into workable technical solutions, putting the right level of governance in place, and leading multi-disciplinary teams and third-party suppliers to deliver.
