I want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement applies to www.millit.co.uk.
What I have done
The site has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This includes:
- text and background colours chosen to meet AA contrast requirements;
- a “skip to content” link, clear headings and landmarks for screen-reader and keyboard users;
- visible keyboard focus on all links, buttons and form fields;
- a contact form with proper labels, clear error messages and an error summary;
- text that can be resized up to 200% and a layout that works on small screens and when zoomed to 400%;
- respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting;
- no time limits, auto-playing media or flashing content.
Known limitations
I am not aware of any significant accessibility problems. If you find something that is difficult to use, please let me know.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you have difficulty using this site, need information in a different format, or would like to report an accessibility problem, email phil@millit.co.uk. I will reply within 5 working days.
How this statement was prepared
This statement was prepared on 1 November 2026 following a self-assessment against WCAG 2.2 AA using automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks. I review it at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
